KaamdoPK ("we", "our", "us") operates the KaamdoPK mobile application and website (kaamdopk.com), a gig marketplace connecting people who need tasks done with people looking for work in Pakistan.
Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your account type (worker or poster)
When you use the app, we collect:
- Job postings you create (title, description, location, budget)
- Bids you place on jobs
- Messages you send to other users through the in-app chat
- Your approximate location (city), if you choose to share it, to show you nearby gigs
- Ratings and reviews you give or receive
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Connect job posters with workers
- Enable in-app messaging between matched users
- Show you relevant nearby job listings
- Display ratings and reviews to build trust between users
- Improve our app and fix issues
Payment Information
KaamdoPK currently supports cash payment arrangements made directly between users upon job completion. We do not currently process or store any payment card or banking information. If payment features are added in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Your name and rating are visible to other users you interact with (e.g. a poster can see a worker's name when reviewing bids). We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
We use Supabase, a secure database provider, to store your account information. Your data is protected using industry-standard security practices.
Location Data
If you allow location access, we use it only to show you gigs near your location and calculate distance. We do not track or store your precise location history.
Your Rights
You can:
- Edit your profile information at any time
- Delete your account by contacting us at kaamdopk@gmail.com
- Request a copy of your data by contacting us
Data Retention
We retain your information as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
Children's Privacy
KaamdoPK is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
